i will include the pc itstop report below:
Processor:
Brand/Model Intel Pentium 4
Nominal Clock Speed 2800 MHz
Measured Clock Speed 2800 MHz
External Clock Speed 532 MHz
CPU Load 1%
Speed Rating 4158 (93% of 2239 similar)
my laptop come with a intel celeron d 335 processor, so why is this saying i have a p4?? also other utilities such as sisoftware sandra too says my processor is a p4, can anybody help??

Does it really matter?
It has got the clock speed & FSB right. It probably just assumes that all Intel processors are P4s.

if it does turn out you have a p4 m8
have your self a beer. celeron are not as good as p4
you lappy isnt a advent by any chance is it ?

I love advent PCs.
And as to why your processor is reported as a Pentium 4, that's because it kind of is one. It's just a somewhat crippled version.
