I then decided to upgrade to windowsXP Professional and so I formatted the drive and installed this OS on the computer...Trouble is that now I have no drivers for the sodding thing as they are all encoded on the restore disk... where can i get them from? I've got two of these machies if thats any help, one as it was from the shop and one with WindowsXP Pro on it. Thanks

When you updated to xp pro it wiped out the hidden smart image on the pc ( which holds the drivers).Normally you'd have to order update cds and run the recovery again and put the update cd in when prompted.
Steve's link give you most of the drivers.
Alternatively seeing as you have another identical machine then you can get all the drivers from that.
On the machine that is still as original you will find a folder called applications located in your C drive.
Burn that folder to a cd and use that on the xp pro machine. You can load the drivers manually by browsing the cd or go to device manager and choose update driver and point it to the cd.
