Hello
I have a computer with split hard drives and i need to merge them for memory use.
I am using windows 2000 professional
The hard drives i have as a followed:
C: capacity 3.17gb Free: 1.16gb
D: capacity 3.16gb Free: 3.01gb
E: capacity 3.16 gb Free: 3.16gb
F: capacity 3.14gb Free: 3.13gb

I want to put D,E & F all onto C can anyone help me, i know it can be done but not sure how?

what things do you want to know sorry im not very good with this kind of thing?

evileve, you can do it, you're absolutley right but you'll need a third party software such as Partition Magic[which is not available for free].

The other option is to delete all the partions and create the one partition; C: and format and reinstall Windows onto it.

I'd just add to what Chris has said, check on startup, see just how many drives you actually have, if it is more than one you'll have to live with a D drive.
