I'm having problems getting my game software to run. I have Steel Panthers 7.2 version and I reinstalled it after conducting a systens wipe to rid my computer of spyware. Now I can't get the program to run because most of the files are zipped and I get the message " The Computer
cannot open these(this) file because it does not recognize the file (or program) that created it." How do I get or find the program(s) that created the files to open them so I can enjoy my game again?

Well we really need to know what sort of files to answer the question. But if they are all zip files, you could unzip them with WinZip. The trial version is free.

However, it sounds a bit of a red herring to me because if the game has been fully reinstalled with all of its files, I can't see why it wouldn't run and the connection to files being zipped sounds unlikely. Are you getting any error messages when you try to run the game?

A bit more info is needed I think.
