Use XP pro with full upgrade. Motherboard Asus A7N8X with AMD 3200+ and Logitech cordless keyboard.

In BIOS setup I have enabled Power up from keyboard, but this does not work. Does anyone have a solution?

I've never tried it with a cordless keyboard but other than that if you're sure it is correctly enabled, I can't think of anything. I've looked round the Asus site & I can't spot any known issues with Logitech.

I think that I would start by plugging in a wired keyboard if you've got one lying around. If it works with that it might be worth checking out the Logitech site to see if there are any later drivers.

I'm at work at the moment but I'll check my Asus motherboard manuals tonight to see if that gives me any bright ideas. unsure.gif

There may be an option in the bios to enable USB keyboard support. If your old keyboard was a ps/2, then it probably was not enabled. Unfortunately, you will need a ps/2 keyboard to access it and change it.

Only possibility i can think of.

Having now examined the manual, the mobo option is to allow power on by a PS2 keyboard which is presumably why the option doesn't work with the cordless set up.
There is as Pollock suggests a setting to support USB keyboards.
