Hi to all, Bought an Advent 9117 from PC World returns about 18 months ago. Got Crucial Memory to scan it and they said I could fit 2x2gb. Bought and fitted but machine crashed. Went back to 2gb and did clean reinstall but when I tried to make recovery discs message said 1 set had been made. Can anyone tell me how to reset the counter or do I have to buy new discs,

if the restore partition on hard disk has been destroyed for any reason you need to purchase a set of rcovery discs.
