im getting a new pc and
i was thinking of spending bout 400 just on the tower
i was thinking of getting a Refurbished PC from pc world or building my own spec on PCSPECIALIST
any other places to buy it and any on ideas and what to buy
i want it to play some games team fortress 2 half life 2 ect

hello,
go to Morrisons they are selling a a Toshiba laptop daul core processor 2 gb 160GB etc
for £299 for Christmas. it is a windows vista basic so there is no free upgrade to Windows7

or a Compaq desktop with flat bed monitor for same £299. this could be better for you as you can always
change the graphic card in future to play newer games.

Dual core amd with good graphic card (256mb) and 1GB RAM WINXP.

just an update as it is now 21 oct and in my previous post I wrote Morrisons the supermarket are
selling Toshiba for £299
well they have finished all the Toshiba now (when it is gone it is gone deal)

now they have brought an e-machine Laptop with Vista home premium 160Gb but only 1MB ram
for £275 including the VAT.

it is a good value laptop.
