Due to the latest Microsoft Office Authentication Update identifying my copy of MS Office at not genuine when it is, I am thinking of changing to Open Office.
Obviously I will uninstall MS Office 2003. I have a lot of MS Office files, will these be ok when I uninstall MS Office?

Your personal files wont be touched when you uninstall office.

Open office will open most MS Office files.

best thing todo is to install open office and try it before uninstalling MS office.
