Hi. I have a memory card that shows 564 MB free and 406 MB used in properties. It contains family pictures displayed in a digital photo frame. I'm now at the point that when I try to copy further pictures onto it the error meassage "cannot create file or directory" appears. If I delete an existing pic I can then copy one more onto the card. There is obviously a limit to the number of pics I can store on the card despite the free memory. Can anybody explain please?
thanks

How is the memory card formatted? As FAT or FAT32? If it is the former, back up your files onto a PC & refomat as FAT32 (this will wipe everything on the card). Then restore the files.
