Hi Everyone,
I recently posted a couple of questions about a Portable hard-drive I'd just purchased but despite waiting for email notification about a response, theres been nothing, so I decided to return to your Site tonight and I cannot find any sign of my Post - any idea what could have happened ? I posted it on Thursday 6th Aug.
Thanks,
Jaydee

Strange you can't see it, as it is there and I answered your question on the same day.
You can find it
HERE if you still can't see it.

Hello again,
Thanks for your reply both to my original Posting about the portable hard-drive and to this one about my not being able to view either postings and not receiving any email notifications (despite ticking the box).
I've discovered that every single page I go to on this website I have to click on 'refresh' - and if I got back a page I have to click on 'refresh' too...... I've tried logging out and back in, and out again......I've tried using a new I.E. page and typing in the address instead of using the one from the drop-down menu. Nothing works.
Obviously its some hang-up with my own PC but how to cure it I just don't know. I've never had any problems with this website in the past and I can't think what to try next to cure this annoying problem of having to refresh every page.
I've noticed that even when I've logged-out, when I return I am sometimes already logged-in, and that never used to be the case. I always had to type my Username and password especially if I'd previously logged-out.
Is a strange problem and one I've never come across before.
Can you throw any light on the subject.
I did email the website directly and Matt emailed me back with suggestions about what the Settings should read etc etc, and they do read exatly as Matt said;
I've relied on this site so many times in the past and had such brilliant help and advice from All of you. I'm scared that something serious is about to happen and I won't be able to reach any of you guys with any problems.
Thanks for any help in advance. Thanks too for the advice about the external hard-drive. I thought it would work like the hard-drive in the computer itself - hadn't thought about speed or anything like that Mart. No matter it'll be great for Storage purposes, which I suppose is its main function anyway!!! I just wanted to relieve the laptop of some games and play them from somewhere else, so that the laptop might speed up somewhat. Guess I need a new laptop !!!
Regards,
Jaydee
