Hi Everyone, well the problem I have is pretty miniscule really, more of an annoyance than anything else, but I'd just like to know whats causing it and can it be sorted.
I've recently installed a Game from CD-rom onto my Toshiba laptop (OS is Windows XP) and each time I've played it, when I close it down and return to the desktop the whole 'look' of the desktop has been changed. Any folders I have on it (and I admit to having quite a few - probably more than I should) have all moved around. I've tried clicking on 'lock web items on desktop' to see if it'll keep everything in place, but it doesn't work for all the items.
Can anyone tell me whats happening, and is there anything I can do to prevent it ?

Its more than likely that when you enter this game, its changing the screen resolution. So when you quit, its changing it back to where it was before. Since the resolution changed, the icons moved to fit the smaller screen.

It happens when I play Championship Manager 01/02 - I fixed the problem by running the game inside a window, rather than full screen.
