hello ,
have you searched for the folder by right clicking on C: drive in mycomputer
and entering newfolder as search string??
Ben
This is interesting. I didnt search for new folder but searched for a .dwg file that I know was in the offending folder. The search picked up a shortcut to the file in the following location
C:\Documents and Settings\ALL USERS.D67VF81J\Recent. The shortcut pointed to the offending folder so I double clicked the .dwg file to open it in Autocad and sure enough it opened. This I presume means the file is in there still but the search did not pick it up directly. I have continued creating new folders every now and then in the offending folder, to reassure myself that Im not losing the plot, and am now upto new folder (6). Also, when I look at the folders properties it shows it as having zero kb.
