hi i have a packard bell pulsar 300 computer with
Bora Pro motherboard, P3 450mhz, 320 ram, 2 X 6gb hard disks, a 230w power supply, nvidia geforce 5 5200fx graphics card. recently i overclocked the cpu using a program called FSB and i changed the bus speed from the default 100 to 133mhz, this made the cpu run at 600mhz quite comfortably witout any problems, but last night without any warning my computer powered off, and i got a burning coffee smell. i have changed the power supply on it wit a 200w psu and tested the cpu on a friends computer and it works fine. so im stuck for ideas as to what it could be that has failed. not a sound is made and no led lights up. none of the fans start either. any help at all would be much appriciated. please. am very desperate. thank you. sam

See if there is a cmos clear jumper or remove the battery to reset the bios to defaults then see if it boots.

Alternately, you've killed the northbridge on the mainboard.
Which means you've got no chance of a replacement board because there haven't been any Bora Pro boards in the pipeline for ages.
